Research into 2 wildlife photographers
For my research I shall be looking and talking about 2 wildlife photographers, I will say a little bit of background information on both of them, then I shall say if they have won any awards during their photography career. I will then do a brief analysis of one of their photos.
The two photographers I am going to look at are; Andy Rouse and Brian Phipps.
Brian Phipps
Brian Phipps is British wildlife photographer, who takes photos for so many different magazines, he has done articles and published some of his pictures in; Mammal News, Annual Review, Country and Border Life, Sporting Gun, West Country Life and Castle deer. He has probably worked on more magazines, but this is all I could find on his own personal website.
Here is a little bit of information on Brian Phipps;
He was born in 1973, his passion for photography started in 1992, and his passion started because of fishing on the Somerset levels, the reason why it grew is because over time it found he enjoyed the wildlife more than catching the fish. Due to his he sold all his fishing gear and with the money he made he brought his first SLR (EOS5000).
He spends hours researching his locations so that he doesn’t have to wait around and hide to get the pictures he wants. He doesn’t really like taking pictures of animals in captivity but sometimes he has to. He can proudly say that 99% of his pictures are from the wild.
For some of his work go to http://www.brianphipps.net/galleries
